About us

TSYR Seishinkan Dojo was founded in 2017. Dojo-cho is Christina Gutz, who received a TSYR Shoden Mokuroku license from Threadgill sensei in January 2021.

Four more dojo members have received a TSYR Shoden Mokuroku license: Jonas Fathy (2018) - Jonas has been a member of our TSYR Seishinkan Dojo since 2023, and was previously dojo-cho of the TSYR Shinwa Dojo in London -, Frank Kulus (2021), André Jätzschmann (2025) and Eric Kaden (2025). Our dojo currently has nine members.

With Threadgill sensei's approval, we chose “Seishinkan” as the name for our dojo. In our opinion a good image/metaphor that connects Shinto "sei" - "pure" and "shin" - "spirit" with "kan" - "house". This house is our dojo, where we strive to train in a good and pure spirit and mind, and behave accordingly to the outside world.
